In an exclusive clip, Lopez rehearses her hit song "Do It Well"
The residency kicks off on Dec. 30
When it comes to putting on an epic show, Jennifer Lopez sure can do it well!
The star is gearing up for her new Las Vegas residency show â and in a video thatâs premiering exclusively with PEOPLE, Lopez offers a look at the grind that goes into perfecting her performance.
In the clip, the singer, 56, jokingly strikes some fierce poses while at rehearsals, and watches her dancers practice choreography for her fan-favorite 2007 song âDo It Well." The hit is set to be featured on Lopez's setlist for the first time in years.
âGo back a little bit, and letâs do it a little bit more elegantly,â she advises.

The video then features a montage of Lopez rehearsing her moves as âDo It Wellâ plays. The montage features a sneak peek at whatâs to come, including elaborate set pieces, extravagant dances and more.
âSheâs f---ing unbelievable,â a crew member tells the camera. âWho learns that in one day? Youâre so good!â
At the end of the video, Lopez high fives her dancers and crew in celebration of a job well done, and jokes with the exhausted group that âitâll get easier.â
âYouâre amazing, all of you,â she says. âYou feel accomplished, donât you? You should.â

The âOn the Floorâ singer is set to launch Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace over New Yearâs Eve week, with four performances on Dec. 30 and 31 and Jan. 2 and 3. Sheâll also perform eight shows in March.
According to a press release, Lopez will sing âchart-topping hits from across her legendary career, alongside exclusive new ânever heard beforeâ songs.â
The starâs latest Sin City stint comes several years after Jennifer Lopez: All I Have at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. She played 120 shows between 2016 and 2018, and grossed over $100 million.
Her most recent album This Is Me⊠Now came out in February 2024.
Lopez announced her new residency in May, shortly after hosting the 2025 American Music Awards (and pulling off an impressive eight outfit changes during the show).
âJust everything in my life right now just feels really healthy and good, and Iâm ready to get out there and make people sing and dance and have a good time,â she told PEOPLE in May. "Thatâs always my goal.â
